What is CEOP? A law enforcement agency designed to help keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming. Asking to meet up if they've only met them online. Requesting sexual pictures. Forcing them into sexual activity. Making them feel unsafe.

Parent info provides information and support to parents. Here you will find useful articles, tips and expert advice and resource's designed to help parents keep up with what their children are doing online.

Thinkuknow is an educational programme from CEOP. It provides education about sexual abuse and sexual exploitation.

At Morton, we have a dual responsibility when it comes to online safety:

  • To ensure that our school's online procedures keep our students safe.
  • To teach our students and staff about online safety in and out of school.

As a school we have an open environment where students are encouraged to ask questions in an ongoing conversation about the benefits and dangers of the online world.

It is extremely important that as a school, we not only teach our students to make responsible decisions around what they choose to use the internet for, but also to have resources and advice available to parents and carers. These resources should cover topics like social media platforms, their child's internet usage, mental health and much more.

The school is part of United Learning. United Learning comprises: UCST (Registered in England No: 2780748. Charity No. 1016538) and ULT (Registered in England No. 4439859. An Exempt Charity). Companies limited by guarantee. VAT number 834 8515 12.
