𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 - 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆
This morning, the academy welcomed Carlisle West Neighbourhood Police team as part of their national week of knife crime enforcement (Op Sceptre).
The main aim of their visit was to teach our students about the dangers and risks of knife crime and to wand/search bags as the students entered the school building. This showed our students how robust the police are about knife crime in schools and that they have the powers to do these types of searches under the Education Act. Cumbria Police
